Millowl (Phillip Island)

Millowl, also known as Phillip Island, is a place of shifting light and timeless presence. Home to sea winds, limestone cliffs, ancient sands and the stories of the Bunurong people, it holds a quiet power that seeps into every photograph. Here, land and water meet in endless conversation: tides carve, birds wheel, trees lean toward salt air. My lens turns to this island not to possess it, but to listen, to capture the stillness, the movement, and the truth that lives between them.

I live on the traditional grounds of the Bunnarong peoples and they are the Custodians of these lands and waters.

I pay respect to Elders present and emerging for they hold the memories, traditions, the culture and Lore.
